Welcome to Geeks Like You.
Since you got to this website, you have started down the path of Geek! It has become a religion for some. It is even god for some. All funning aside, all of us are becoming more of a geek every day. Many of us come kicking and screaming with our fingernails dug into the dirt of the bliss of ignorance but like it or not, we must become a part of this world of geek.
If you don't visit our forums you'll miss most of what is going on here. The forums are a place for you to ask questions without being made to feel you're an idiot for asking. I can't answer everything but I'll do my best and if I don't know the answer, I'll just do like everyone else and make it up!
Only kidding, I'll tell you if I don't know. We are here to help you and I hope others with far more knowledge than myself will join us.

Autocad is the one that comes to mind. Some of my super geek friends were into Autocad.
Later all CPU's had floating point processors included. It is taken for granted now. My reason for bringing it up is that the Godson chip is expected to reach 1 petaflop. What is a petaflop? That's one quadrillion floating point operations per
